The New Leg! The Baby Elephant Got Fresh Prosthetic Legs After Losing His Own In A Landmine.

Accidents happen to animals too! And some are major. And most of these accidents that occur to animals are caused by humans. This is an exciting story about one such animal who got a Prosthetic leg after a significant accident. It was a landmine, and this poor elephant lost one of its precious legs. So same, like the humans, he had to depend on an artificial limb. And this is a rare case as this is the first time we have heard about animals using prosthetic legs. So, this is the first-ever animal to be on an artificial limb.

She is Mosha! She runs into HisHistory, the animal world, with her new prosthetic limb. She was seven months when she lost her get to a landmine. The accident was not simple. It made the poor animal lose its Leg and injured her spine and the other limb. It was pressurized immensely and caused severe difficulty in walking or moving.

Mosha was lucky to get this Leg from the renowned organization Friends of the Asian Elephant Foundation in Thailand. And Mosha lived in Thailand. This organization was one of the best that worked on accommodating the elephant’s needs. They help elephants of all ages, from minor to the big ones.

Poor Mosha has to lie against the wall to get pressure without his limb. She also has a friend with a similar condition living with her, Matola. She has the same issue and has got a Prosthetic limb as Mosha. And she is the second elephant to receive such a facility.

But Matola needed to be more skilled in using her artificial limb than Mosha, as each elephant has different growth patterns. How this incident makes his history in the animal world.
